The more things change, the more they stay the same at Bayside High!  In this long awaited sequel to the classic 90's series, Saved by the Bell, it's almost like Zack Morris did his patented "time out" and never timed us back in! Flash forward to present day in the wealthy Pacific Palisades neighborhood, where so many memories were made for Zack, AC Slater, Screech, Lisa Turtle, Kelly Kapowski, and Jesse Spano (Elizabeth Berkley) at Bayside.  Now that everyone's famous high schoolers are now on the opposite side of 40, they all have varying levels of success.  AC and Jesse are both working at Bayside, Lisa has a fashion line, and Zack Morris is the freakin' Governor of California with his beautiful wife Kelly Kapowski-Morris by his side!  So the new handsome Governor decides that the best way for him to use his power and make sure the lower income kids of California get the advantages him and his friends got is to open up a program allowing the lower income kids in surrounding communities to attend Bayside High too!  As much of a sequel as this series is, it's almost more of a reboot with plenty of the cast returning as their characters, but with all new creative minds behind it like Tracey Wigfield, who brought us 30 Rock and The Mindy Project, giving the former tween series a much needed mature face-lift, even referencing Elizabeth Berkley's scandalous turn in Showgirls (1995), with her sporting the exact same outfit in Season 2 of the new version!  I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so TURNED ON!
