Based on a True Story (2023)

Don’t let the title fool you, this crime-based comedy series is all fiction, and hopefully it stays that way. Ava and Nathan (Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina) are a couple struggling with the high cost of living in Los Angeles. She’s a pregnant realtor in need of new listings and he’s a tennis pro who works at a country club but is seemingly getting slowly ousted by a younger instructor. There’s also a serial killer roaming around LA, and one day when the two pseudo-sleuths think they’ve discovered the killer’s identity, they come up with a plan to end their money woes by making a hit true crime podcast and interviewing the psycho rather than turning him in. Throughout the series we see Kaley in a number of compromising positions as she frequently fantasizes about having sex with a hot client and Priscilla Quintana shows lots of plump cleavage and bare midriff as her curvy friend, Ruby. The two even share some sapphic smooches while dancing in Vegas! The story may be fake but your throbbin’ pocket rocket will be real!
