Dark Matter (2024-)

Apple TV’s sci-fi thriller series based on the book by Blake Crouch stars Joel Edgerton as Jason Dessen, a physicist and professor living in Chicago with his wife Daniela (Jennifer Connelly) and teenage son Charlie (Oakes Fegley). One night after drinking in a pub with his friend Ryan (Jimmi Simpson), who has just won the University of Pavia’s prize for physics, Jason gets abducted… by another version of himself that wants to take his place, therefore discovering that there are a multiverse’s worth of Jasons out there leading different lives. Now this Jason has to fight to get back to the one he came from and reunite with his family, and if you were married to the smokeshow that is Jennifer Connelly, you’d do the same! Especially after seeing her in a lacy camisole or when she slinks on camera in a tight black dress. When it comes to sexiness, sometimes it’s the simple things that really matter!
