This Way Up (2019-2021)

Aine (series creator and star Aisling Bea) has had a rocky road over the past couple of years. She's unsuccessful in her love life, social life, work life, private life, any life. So he has herself, as she describes it, "a teeny little nervous breakdown". When she checks herself out of the mental establishment, she has a new lease on life and is looking to pick up the pieces and move on.  The only problem is that she's freshly released into the loving arms of her big sister Shona (Sharon Horgan), who is not just worried about her baby sister, she's also worried about every single aspect of her own life, including her nonstop workaholic husband, her lady boss who she regularly fantasizes about after they made out at a party, and every other thing in the world.  So Aine and Shona are definitely related and the neuroses are bouncing back and forth between the two of them like a pinball machine as they act as each other's soundboards.  Aine gets a job as a babysitter for a widower and immediately starts sleeping with him, Shona can't stop fantasizing about her boss Charlotte (Indira Varma), and they periodically both think they are dying of cancer.  This hilarious UK series from the mind of BAFTA winner Aisling Bea is definitely going to tug your heart strings and the stunning stars of the series are going to make you want to tug something else as there is no shortage of Aine and Shona in their undies throughout!
