The Good House (2022)

Once-successful realtor in an idyllic small town in New England, Hildy Good (Sigourney Weaver), paints a wry picture of addiction, divorce, real estate, and late-in-life romance with fourth wall breaks and wine in this dramedy from the husband and wife team of Maya Forbes and Wallace Wolodarsky. Based on a novel by Anne Leary, Hildy is a mind-reading descendent of one of the first accused witches of Salem who’s life starts to unravel after an intervention followed by a stint in rehab, culminating in the loss of clients to her former assistant, somewhat strained relationships with her adult daughters and gay ex, and a sly affair with an old flame (Kevin Kline). There’s nothing subtle about Sigourney’s skinny dipping scene about 21 minutes in, a flashback to the previous night where she takes a dip after drinking wine she’d hidden in her shed. We see Sigourney remembering whipping off her wet bra, briefly revealing her right breast. While we could never forget her iconic knockers, it’s always nice to get a sexy reminder!
