Please Baby Please (2022)

It’s set in a musical theater version of 1950s Manhattan, where a boho married couple named Arthur (Harry Melling) and Suze (Andrea Riseborough) unwillingly become witnesses to a murder carried out by a Wild Ones-esque gang of delinquents who call themselves the “Young Gents.” It’s a life changing moment for both husband and wife, as Arthur finds himself sexually attracted to the gang’s leader Teddy (Karl Glusman), while at the same time the street tough ignites Suze’s own inner punk. We eventually see Andrea imagine herself in black heeled boots and garters, feeling no pain while surrounded by the leather-clad gang, and then baring her breasts while transforming into her new macho persona to a sexy saxophone playing “Since I Don’t Have You.” Since she doesn’t have a top, it’s one of our favorite endings to a movie!
