Bruised (2021)

Believe it or not, Bruised (2021) marks the directorial debut of Halle Berry, who took on the extraordinarily difficult task of also starring in her own film. Halle plays Jackie Justice, a disgraced former MMA fighter who was pushed to resign following a scandal that rocked the sport several years earlier. Now, her boyfriend Desi (Adan Canto) is leading her—rather dubiously—into the world of underground fighting where the rules are a lot looser but the pay is a lot better. While fighting in this underground ring, Jackie catches the attention of a promoter who has an idea of how she could stage her comeback in the big leagues. Couple all of this with the unexpected return of Manny (Danny Boyd Jr.), the son she gave up for adoption when he was just an infant, now he's on the cusp of being a teenager and even more precipitously close to being deemed a juvenile delinquent. Jackie must now fight for redemption both inside the ring and outside, because that's what you call drama folks. It's why boxing is such a great movie sport, it's both a literal boxing match and a metaphorical one, uniting two powerful forms of drama into one. While Halle Berry does nearly flash her bush early in the film as she gets busy with Desi, it's her lesbian sex scene with Sheila Atim you'll want to fast forward to! 85 minutes into the flick, these two beautiful ladies give in to their passions and get busy, both baring their breasts, and both guaranteed to satisfy! Just don't enjoy this scene too much or you'll end up Bruised yourself!
