A Murder at the End of the World (2023)

True crime writer Darby Hart (Emma Corrin) considers themself an amateur sleuth after growing up helping their medical examiner father at various crime scenes and decides to team up with fellow hacker and citizen detective Bill Farrah (Harris Dickinson) after they meet in an online forum. They decide to put their talents to use solving a serial murder case that ends up being the basis for her new memoir The Silver Doe, and by dedicating the book to a renowned hacker who had to go into hiding (Brit Marling), Darby and Bill get invited by the hacker’s tech billionaire husband Andy Ronson (Clive Owen) to a private retreat in the Arctic, where, as luck would have it, one of the guests is killed. Emma has a number of stripped down moments within the first two episodes of this seven-part miniseries, the best being their smoking and pacing scene with their rack revealed in an open robe. Also, with costar Alice Braga showing how cold it is near the North Pole by nipping out in a tank top, you’ll have hard time not stroking your South Pole!
