George Clooney and Julia Roberts haven't shared the screen together since Money Monster (2016), so six years apart felt like enough time to get them back together for a good old fashioned studio big budget romantic comedy, Ticket to Paradise (2022). Clooney and Roberts play exes who are reuniting in Bali in hopes of stopping their daughter (Kaitlyn Dever) from marrying a local boy. The pair concoct many harebrained schemes over the course of the week before finally giving in and realizing that their daughter is happy and that's all that matters.
