The drama Sylvia (1965) stars blonde bombshell Carroll Baker as a young poetess engaged to millionaire Frederic Summers (Peter Lawford). When Summers begins to wonder about her past, he hires a private detective (George Maharis) to investigate her. The detective learns that Sylvia is a former prostitute who developed a love of learning and culture that a sadistic client’s $10,000 of hush money afforded her to indulge. Along the way, we get to see Carroll in a nightgown that accentuates her cleavage. Nice muffins, Ms. Baker!
