Summerland (2020)

Summerland (2020)is a moving war drama from writer and director Jessica Swale that takes during the second world war in England. An Englishwoman takes in a war evacuee from bombed-out London named Frank and tries to help him, making room in her heart to understand where he is coming from in this dire time of need. Gemma Arterton stars as Alice, the Englishwoman who lives a rather solitary life as a writer on the southern coast of England. She adopts Frank but does not want to do it at first. She slowly realizes they have a lot more in common than she initially thought and her heart softens towards this poor young man. Gemma also happens to be attracted to women. Hey, so are we! We get to see Gemma have a bath which shows off her slender shoulders. We do not get to see her chest, but her wet shoulders are tantalizing enough. While she is in the bath, she has some fond memories of her dalliance with her lady lover Vera, played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The two ladies went into the water in her negligees, letting the silk stick to their fine figures. We are gaga for Gugu when she wears a bright pink slip that shows a little bit of cleavage when she is hanging out in the water and in the sun. Then the two slip into bed together and sensually smooch while being mostly clothed. With these two sexy actresses, it is also hot in Summerland.
