Skeletons in the Closet (2018)

Skeletons in the Closet (2018) is also known as Chop Shop about a late-night horror anthology television series that is hosted by a woman known as The Widow and her dead husband Charlie. Their horror anthology show is meant to horrify and test the audiences, but some viewers wonder if the horror that they are viewing goes too far. It seems a little too real. One viewer is an eleven-year-old girl named Jamie who is watching at home on a Friday night while being babysat. The babysitter keeps interrupting and starts to wonder if this show is dangerous to watch for the two of them. This is a very meta, gory, and campy film-within-a-film that verges on 80s nostalgia comedy and straight-up scares as we see both the show Skeletons in the Closet and the story that unfolds between Jamie and her babysitter. Rhiann Owen plays The Actress for one of the gory stories.
