Moksha Bybee may be almost as famous as the tigers she hangs with, thanks to highly watched Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness (2020), the Netflix docuseries that captivated a nation while it was in the throes of a quarantine (What else were you going to do? Bake bread?). In the vein of all reality shows, the truth is stranger than fiction, and Moksha shares a story that fascinated us all. As one of three women who help run a 50-acre wildlife preserve in South Myrtle Beach, she’s known as the “Monkey Mama” for raising all the baby monkeys and apes, and is considered a professional Liger expert. She’s also a worker, partner, and…. to Bhagavan Kevin “Doc” Antle, the owner. Doc claims to be a single guy, but the vibe Moksha gives out seems to indicate the two indulge in frolicking good fun that doesn’t involve tigers in any way, shape, or form. And speaking of form, Moksha (her real name is Meredith) has a pretty fine-looking one, as evidenced in the documentary when she swims with a tiger. Sticking with the theme of things, she’s dressed in a tiger-printed halter swimsuit that shows off more than a little cleavage. One can’t help being envious of the tiger when he gets a taste of her. Rolling Stone magazine once reported that in order for a gal to get the gig Moksha has, she has to be, “within 20 pounds of their perfect athletic weight or working to get there, able to do push-ups, pull-ups, and run a 12-minute mile.” Mr. Skin requires none of that. Just saying.
