Jean Garrido might be the Jean Genie, but she's most assuredly the only Jean we dream about these days! Ever since laying eyes on Jean in the Sundance sensation Ruby in Paradise (1993), we've become obsessed with this devastatingly gorgeous woman who popped her top off for our pleasure! That's right, in her one and only film role, Jean played "Bar Dancer," doffing her bikini top and spinning around the pole for a couple of lucky guys who were there to catch her performance in the flesh! Immediately after, Jean appears to have dropped off the face of the earth and we're a lesser planet for it, to be honest. It seemed as though Ruby in Paradise was going to be a stepping stone to bigger and better things for Jean, but like so many movies that are beloved and lauded at Sundance, it came and went in theaters without much notice. You couldn't blame Jean for potentially having thought that her career was going to go into the stratosphere after the flick took home the Grand Jury Prize, but things just didn't manifest that way and we've been Jean Garrido-less for three decades! Even still, it's nice to know that Jean Garrido did indeed go topless on film and we have it for posterity's sake! Well, we have it for a lot more than just posterity's sake, but you catch our drift!
