He's All That (2021)

No Nudity

Review

Remember back in the late 90s when George Bernard Shaw's classic play Pygmalion—which had already been turned into a musical with My Fair Lady—was updated for the frosted tips crowd with She's All That (1999)? Well, the time has finally come for it to get the gender swapped update for the Instagram age with He's All That (2021). The most popular girl in school, Padgett Sawyer—played by social media influencer Addison Rae—is constantly at odds with her chief rival Alden (Madison Pettis), while also determined to put her in her place once and for all. The two make a bet that Padgett can turn any guy into Homecoming King material if given enough time and they settle on her working her magic on the school's biggest loser Cameron Kweller (Tanner Buchanan). From there, we all know how this story plays out, the two of them start their relationship under false pretenses, he begins to see that she's not the stuck up girl he always thought, while she gets the notion that his loser exterior masks a sensitivity and vulnerability. Yadda yadda yadda, I was just a stupid bet, they break up, they get back together, and finally everyone discovers that he is, indeed, all that! Despite carrying a TV-MA rating, there's no nudity whatsoever in this flick. Addison Rae is dead sexy in the lead role while Madison Pettis and Vanessa Dubasso add some supporting sexiness in their bikinis—not to mention a sexy cameo from Kourtney Kardashian—but like the PG-13 flick on which this one is based, it's just not the movie for us guys, sorry!
