Crimes of the Future (2022)

For the second time in his career—following his 1970 second feature—Canadian body horror maestro David Cronenberg made a film titled Crimes of the Future (2022).

Reuniting with leading man Viggo Mortensen, Cronenberg tells the twisted tale of celebrity performance artist Saul Tenser (Mortensen), who partners with Caprice (Léa Seydoux) in the not too distant future for a one of a kind exhibition wherein Caprice orchestrates the growing of a strange new organ inside of Saul's body that is then surgically removed.

Humanity as a whole has begun a biological evolution in this story, so Saul's performance art is a commentary on the actual practical use of medical advances to evolve the species. It's all very... Cronenberg. There's also some great nudity from the always game Léa Seydoux, along with some phenomenal frontal from Nadia Litz and Tanaya Beatty!

The only crime we see in your future is a bout of self flagellation!
