Born in sunny California but raised in the much chillier Vancouver, Canada, this marvelous mix of Chinese and German ancestry started performing in elementary school through choir and dance classes. She continued her studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, graduating from their Theatre Acting Program, before landing a role in her first film, Roobha, in 2018. That same year she made herstory as the first transgender character to be played by an actual transgender actress on a soap opera with her portrayal of Dr. Terry Randolph on ABC’s General Hospital. After appearing on the TV series Diggstown in 2020 and the holiday film A Christmas Sunset in 2021, Cassandra finally showed a bit of skin in the HBO series Sort Of. The show follows a gender fluid millennial from a large Pakistani family struggling with various identities, and features a hint of sexy sideboob from the American-Canadian who hits it off after meeting the main character Sabi at a party. With season 2 of Theo series underway, let ’s hope this statuesque stunner sheds more clothes!
