Casanova, Last Love (2019)

French director Benoît Jacquot (Farewell My Queen, 3 Hearts) turns his attention to a French legend in exile with the flick Casanova, Last Love (2019). The legendary lothario Casanova (Vincent Lindon) is dictating his memoirs in the late 18th century when he flashes back to his time spent in London in exile, escaping persecution in his native country. He is completely turned off by the entirety of English living, thinking the men to be even more brutish than his French countrymen and the women much looser than their French counterparts. That is, until he meets Marianne de Charpillon (Stacy Martin) a woman half his age who seems completely immune to his substantial charms. However, as their paths continue to cross over a period of weeks, Casanova's obsession with La Charpillon grows and he certainly seems to be wearing her down because she finds herself just as intrigued with this man who is older than her own father. The will they won't they tension sustains through the feature as the two of them play mind games with one another, but Casanova's never been a one woman kind of guy. Monogamy just doesn't suit his character and throughout the film we see him engaging in all manner of sexy shenanigans including a threesome with T'n'A baring beauties Kamelia Pariss and Cassandre Dagon! A visit to a London brothel also brings phenomenal frontal from Pauline Nyris, topless treats from Marion Déjardin, and a bevy of uncredited nude extras! Naturally, Nymphomaniac's Stacy Martin also makes with plenty of nudity in a number of steamy scenes, making this time spent in exile with Casanova more than worth it!
