Britney VS. Spears (2021) is a documentary on Netflix that takes a closer look into the life and career of Britney Spears, focusing mostly on her fight for freedom from her restrictive conservatorship. If you have been living under a rock for the majority of 2019-2021 - which, wait, you probably were because we all had to stay inside - then you might not know that the former pop princess who dominated the charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s was trying to win her financial independence from her family. Britney became a major star when she was only a teenager after her hit "Hit Me Baby One More Time". From there, she was one of the biggest stars in the entire world and that definitely took its toll on the young lady. She began to have antagonistic things towards the press who were peering into every element of her personal life. She wanted to take time off and focus on herself, but her father and sister who were profiting off of Britney had other ideas. They were given control of her finances and her general life in a conservatorship agreement that became impossible for Britney to get out of as she got older. This documentary explores all of this and it also shows Britney in her bathing suit. She has quite the sexy bikini body!
