Bel-Air (2022)

In this updated re-telling of The 90's classic The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, we follow Will Smith (Jabari Banks), as his life gets flipped-turned upside down and has to move in with his aunt and uncle in Bel-Air.  As this new iteration of the real-life Will Smith star making show takes a more dramatic turn, we find that the prince's story is easily adapted to modern day America as he gets into trouble with the wrong people in West Philadelphia and to avoid the gang leaders coming after him, he moves across the country to California and begins his new fish out of water tale of living in a gated community with Uncle Phil and Aunt Viv, along with distant cousins Carlton (Olly Sholoton), Hilary (Coco Jones), and Ashley.  Just like the original, social topics like police violence, drug addiction, sexuality and financial disparities are filtered through the support of the loving Banks family in the upper crust of America.
